Hey, hey, waiting for something
That's nothing, that's nothing
Hey, hey, waiting for something
There's no one around, yeah
Run beside me as I walk
Teach me how to talk the talk
Do all I can, do all I do
I never satisfy you
Hey, hey, caring for someone
That's nothing, that's nothing
Hey, hey, caring for someone
There's no one around, yeah
Run beside me as I walk
Teach me how to talk the talk
Do all I can, do all I do
I never satisfy you
You're always with me
I'm always alone
You're always with me
I'm always alone, yeah
Run beside me as I walk
Teach me how to talk the talk
Do all I can, do all I do
I never satisfy you
Run beside me as I walk
Teach me how to talk the talk
Do all I can, do all I do
I never satisfy you
Lyrics: Jaeson Music: Jaeson, Mike Another very early song, from the same time as In Controle and Devo Blues. Mike named it, and it was a satirical take on Pearl Jam (Marmelade = Jam), since the original way the song was played had a heavy Pearl Jam influence. Note: The song title is purposly misspelled. This was Jaeson's idea, and I forget why, but it stuck and we've spelled it that way ever since.
Jaeson: Vocals, Guitar Mike: Bass Steve: Drums
