I was walking down the street just the other day
I took off all my clothing outside Subway
I went inside and I ran around, people looking my way
Started talking to the patrons, here's what I had to say
I love everyone
I love everyone
I love everyone
Except you
I went on downtown, through the city streets
And I sang this song to everybody that I did meet
And it goes like this
I love everyone
I love everyone
I love everyone
Except you
Local cops picked me up in their cruiser
Took me downtown
Locked me up with a bunch of losers
And they pushed me around, because
I love everyone
I love everyone
I love everyone
Except you... One more time!
I love everyone
I love everyone
I love everyone
Except you
Everyone (Come on, whoooo-hoo!)
Everyone
Everyone
Everyone except you
Lyrics: Mike Music: Mike I Love Everyone is the first of the silly songs penned by Mike. It was made up on the spot during a rehersal while we were waiting for Steve to run some errand, originally with Jaeson on drums while Mike played guitar and ad-libbed lyrics. The lyrics were quickly written down, and the song was born. Jaeson is always reluctant to let Mike sing, but the audience can sometimes force Jaeson to relent, as happened at the 1997 Blue Planet Show.
