Yellow No. 5 prepares for the new year...
February 21, 1999
Cool rehersal. We recorded "Get Up" and "Communication
Breakdown," which we learned just minutes before recording
it. We prepare for the upcoming concerts.
February 24, 1999
Show at Edinboro University, in the "Kilt." We play acoustic.
The show is very enjoyable, and we resurrect several older tunes,
including "Drowning" and "Disappear."
February 27, 1999
Show at 1000 French, in Erie, PA. Some sound difficulties, but
otherwise a good show.
April 10, 1999
Blue Planet '99! One of our best shows, ever. We had a blast.
We recorded the concert on 8-track minidisc.
May 31, 1999
After a short break, we get together for a brief recording session
that yields a superior performance of "Get Up" for the upcoming
"ToolCity Underground II", as well as a new take of "What Is And
What Should Never Be," one of our staple Led Zeppelin covers.
August 21, 1999
After a too-long break, we play a thundering headliner slot that
closes the day-long ToolCity Underground Festival. Taking the
stage at 11:00, and ending just after midnight, we packed all the
energy we could into 60 minutes. It was a blast!
